Known to many as the 'Home of European Drag Racing, Santa Pod Raceway stands on the site of a former World War 2 airfield used by USAAF. Now in its 40th year, Santa Pod, named after the American Santa Ana Raceway, and Poddington - one of the nearby villages - attracts huge fields in all classes from Europe and beyond and hosts dozens of events each year including two rounds of the FIA European Drag Racing Championships.
